Handy Horse Fabrications based in Norton St. Philip, Bath is the brain child of Mike Everley. Having worked in the haulage industry both as a driver, mechanic and qualified HGV fitter for some 25 years, Mike also had experience of transporting horses throughout the UK and Europe. He discovered that there was a distinct shortage in the market for skilled mechanics with particular horsebox expertise. Since discovering this niche in the market he decided to turn his hobby into a full time occupation. He has a purpose built workshop with a full length inspection pit, a 10 ton hydraulic vehicle ramp and facilities for all mechanical repairs including MOT preparation and servicing with plenty of customer parking. As well as the mechanical side Mike carries out a vast array of internal and external body refurbishments and fabrication such as ramps, partitions, pole racks and mounting blocks all made to customers specific requirements.
